Take This 3D Paper Heart Mobile for a Valentine's Day Spin

RSS

Since I've been doing everything with my heart-shaped cookie cutters lately except make actual cookies, I decided to add to the list with this super easy 3D paper heart mobile for Valentine's Day.

It's such an adorable addition to our Valentine's Day decorations, and toddler boss loves it, so I'm guessing that it will stay up long after February 14th. Totally fine with me:-)

STEP 1

Use the cookie cutter to trace a few hearts on one of the sheets of card stock. You'll use these as templates in Step 2.

STEP 2

Use the templates from Step 1 to cut out hearts from the remaining sheets of card stock. You'll need a total of 18 hearts.

STEP 3

STEP 5

Stack the hearts in each group and staple them together twice along the center fold line.

STEP 7

Using the string, tie a loop around the middle of one of hearts and knot it at the top. Put a piece of tape down the center to secure the string to the heart.

Repeat this step with each of the hearts, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
