Warm Holiday Sangria Recipe
If you love sangria in the summer and hot beverages in the winter like I do, then you'll love this warm red wine sangria!
It's got sugar and spice and everything nice, perfect for a quiet night at home on a cold winter night or a festive holiday party hosting great company.
SERVINGS: 8-10
PREP TIME: 5 mins
COOK TIME: 2-4 hours
INGREDIENTS:
1 bottle of sweet Spanish red wine (preferred brand: Eppa Red Sangria)
1 cup orange juice
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup brandy (use up to 1/2 cup, depending on your preference)
1/3 cup agave nectar
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice berries
2 cinnamon sticks
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour all ingredient into slow cooker.
2. Cook on warm (or low) for at least two hours.
3. Strain before serving in heat-resistant glasses.
