Grilled Pound Cake with Mixed Berries and Fresh Whipped Cream
This is a super simple summer recipe that you can make even easier by using store-bought pound cake. YES! Once you grill it and add the mixed berries and fresh lemon-infused whipped cream, all you'll be thinking about is how much you LOVE this combination of flavors. So refreshing, so easy and so perfect for your summer menu!
SERVINGS: 8-12 (depending on cake shape and size)
ACTIVE TIME: 15 minutes
CHILL TIME: 30 minutes
- 1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar (OR 2 tablespoons powdered sugar)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 3 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh chopped strawberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Your favorite pound cake (store-bought or homemade). Preferred brand: Wegmans
- Softened butter
