Tropical Kale Smoothie Recipe (Toddler Chef-Friendly)

This is one of my favorite"Mommy & Me" treats to make with toddler boss!  It's a great way to introduce tiny chefs to measurements, blender safety and the awesome health benefits of kale.  Our secret to making the perfect smoothie every time is to add the ice first, then the liquid and the fruit(s) and yogurt last.  And if you've read my How to Make the Best Food for Your Baby eBook, then you know that I SWEAR BY our Vitamix high performance blender to take care of all our "smoothifying" needs.

SUGGESTED PAIRING:  Serve while your little one is wearing the Burpa Bib in Polka Party.

SERVINGS:   Up to 4 eight-ounce servings

PREP TIME: 10 mins 

ACTIVE TIME: 5 mins

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 cup ice
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 5.3 ounces (standard serving size) vanilla Greek yogurt

DIRECTIONS

1.  Pour ice and coconut milk into the blender, followed by the remaining ingredients.
2.  Blend until smooth.
3.  Enjoy!
